Maahv is an independent design project that I started back in 2022.Preserving and familiarizing the younger generations with Sufi literature and wisdom reflected in everyday objects is Maahv’s main mission.
Deedeh is a limited edition scarf that is produced in two colors and is a typographic representation of a quatrain poem by a little-known Persian Sufi “AbolAbbas Ghassab” who lived around a millennium before.
It reads: ​
We put a sight in the sight of the sight
And we used to feed it from the eye
Suddenly we fell into the divine beauty’s circle
We are freed now from the eye and anything visible
